Welcome To the Porthminster Hotel Restaurant.
Wherever possible we utilise local seasonal produce in all our dishes, as such we are certified and appoved by both the Cornish Accredited Restaurant Scheme and Taste of the West.
All our meat is supplied by two local butchers and all the produce is guaranteed 100% locally reared.
All our fish comes from Matthew Stevens, St. Ives premier fishmonger. Matthew insists on the very best quality of local fish and knows most of the fishermen personally thus guaranteeing only the very best quality and freshness. Our Executive Head Chef, Mark Belsey, was formerly Head Chef at J. Sheekeys in London as well as stints at the Ivy, Scotts of Mayfair and Le Caprice. With a range of menus available and all prepared to the highest of standards we are justifyably proud of our cuisine.
We're open for lunch between 12 and 2pm and for dinner from 7pm until 9pm. We are also fully licensed and serve afternoon cream teas in our bay view lounge.
